Arsenal hit the top of the table over the Christmas period, but are now 12 points off leaders Leicester after a poor run of form since late winter.Cazorla, who could return to the squad for the Saturday Night Football clash with Norwich after a long injury absence, says that while the clubs attacking philosophy is welcomed, they must also learn how to hold leads. Santi Cazorla insists something needs to change at Arsenal next season In an exclusive interview with Sky Sports, Cazorla said: Certainly we need to change something, because if we want to win we need to change. We will see what we have to do, but I think we need to be more regular, regulars every time. This year we lost at home to Swansea, drew at home to Crystal Palace, and this is the difference if you want to win the league. For example against Crystal Palace when we were winning 1-0, we need to think about defending sometimes. Its true we have a great mentality and great philosophy, because we always want to attack and always want to score, but sometimes we need to be clever, and if we are winning 1-0 we need to protect this result and win the three points. Arsene Wenger has come under criticism in recent weeks We had a great opportunity [to win the title], we know that and we were disappointed. Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Miglior Prezzo. But this is football, and we only look to the future. There are protests planned at the Emirates for the visit of Norwich, and although Arsene Wenger has fielded most of the criticism, Cazorla says the club must take collective responsibility. We all have the responsibility this season. When we win we win together, when we lose we lose together, we are a team, he added. Arsenal were top of the table earlier in the season but cannot win the league now I hope next season we improve a lot and I hope we win next season. The first thing I can say is sorry for my injury; I couldnt help the team for a long time. And the second one would be thank you very much for the support, they are amazing supporters, and the disappointment is normal. We know we had a great opportunity to win the league this year and the only thing now is to fight until the end for the final three games.Watch the extended interview with Santi Cazorla on Soccer Saturday from midday on Sky Sports News HQ Also See: Sky Live: Arsenal v Norwich Nicholas backs Arsenal protests Back us, Wenger urges fans Winterburn: Time against Wenger ' ' '
BOSTON -- After a two-month stretch between victories, the Philadelphia 76ers celebrated for the second time in less than a week. Air Force 1 Alte Nere . Michael Carter-Williams and Henry Sims scored 24 points apiece and led the Sixers on a late surge that was too much for Boston to overcome in Philadelphias 111-102 win over the Celtics on Friday night. "We really wanted this win. I think its a great win for us," said Carter-Williams, who scored seven points during an 11-4 run for the Sixers late in the fourth quarter. Thaddeus Young and Elliot Williams added 15 points apiece for the Sixers, who have won two of four since tying an NBA record with 26 straight losses. Philadelphia capitalized on 22 turnovers by Boston and overcame a triple-double by Rajon Rondo, who finished with 11 points, 16 assists and 11 rebounds for the Celtics. "Were on a roll!" Philadelphia coach Brett Brown with a smile. "Im just so proud of their ability to play as a team and continue to do the right thing and have a true desire to get better." The Sixers held Boston scoreless for nearly four minutes late in the third quarter and scored 35 points in the fourth, pulling away while going 11-for-17 from the field and making 12 of 17 foul shots. Sims led Philadelphia with 10 points in the fourth for a new career high in points. "We just kind of turned it up a little bit. We just got more and more into guys and tried to stay aggressive on the defensive end," Young said. "It just shows progress and it just shows growth. This is a young team. A lot of guys, people dont really even know about but these guys are trying to make a name for themselves." Celtics fans are getting to know the young Sixers well. Although Philadelphia has lost 28 of 31, two of the three victories have come in Boston. Boston has lost seven straight and twice this season to Philadelphia, which has won just 17 games. The Sixers edged the Celtics 95-94 on Jan. 29, then didnt win again until beating Detroit last Saturday to avoid setting the longest losing streak in NBA history. Jerryd Bayless scored 23 points for Boston and Brandon Bass finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Jeff Green added 15 points for the Celtics, who went 3-12 in March and fell to 0-2 in April. "We have everything to play for," Rondo said. "We have pride as a team. Right now were not displaying that at all." After struggling through the second quarter, the Sixers kept it close until pulling away late in the third and never allowing the Celtics to retake the lead. "Im sure theyve had their down moments, obviously, throughout their losing streak, but tonight wasnt one of them," Boston coach Brad Stevens said. "They played well. We played not well. Thats that." Philadelphia closed the third period on an 11-2 run and led 76-71 entering the fourth quarter. The Sixers held Boston without a point for nearly four minutes in the third before Kelly Olynyk ended Bostons drought on a putback with 14 seconds left. Philadelphia opened the fourth on a 6-2 run and held a nine-point lead three different times before the Celtics made a run and cut the lead to 89-86 on a three-point play by Green with 6:04 left to play. Carter-Williams got the Sixers running again with a layup, then took a steal in for another layup and scored seven during an 11-4 run that put Philadelphia in command at 100-90 with 2:21 remaining. After opening the game 2 for 11 and committing seven turnovers in the first quarter, the Celtics overcame the sluggish start in the second period and outrebounded Philadelphia 16-8. Trailing 31-28, the Celtics came up with back-to-back offensive rebounds on one possession before Bayless hit a 3-pointer to tie it. "While Mid-Ohio is so close to my home and my heart, at the same time its a place where Ive got almost as many races here as a fan as I do as a driver," the Defiance, Ohio, native said Friday during practice a day before the NASCAR Nationwide series race. Hornish, who has raced several times in competition at the track, believes he has some insider knowledge. "I feel like Ive got a good idea of what the car needs to do and what I need to do as the driver to go out and be successful here," he said. "Yeah, we want to go out and be fast. But the biggest thing about this form of racing -- running on a road course -- is taking care of the equipment." Hornish, one of the series top drivers on tracks that require more than right turns, finished with a rush a year ago at Mid-Ohio. He made a run at the lead on the final lap before ending up behind AJ Allmendinger, winner of the inaugural Nationwide event, and pole-winner Michael McDowell. He could have applied even more pressure, he said, if Allmendinger hadnt been one of his Penske teammates. "I had to play a little bit nicer than I probably would have," he said with a laugh. "All that being said, I feel pretty good about the car that I have." Hornish, with no fulltime sponsor but driving this week for Joe Gibbs Racing in the Monster Energy Toyota, has dreamed of winning at the twisting track located in picturesque farmland midway between Columbus and Cleveland. His odds improved when Allmendinger elected to focus on the Sprint Cup race in Michigann this weekend. Air Force 1 Uomo Saldi . . Hornish was third during Fridays practice behind Justin Marks and Chris Buescher. Qualifying is Saturday morning, with the race later in the day. One of Hornishs chief adversaries figures to be series points leader Chase Elliott, who has never driven at Mid-Ohio. He watched videos and memorized notes from last years race provided by driver Ron Fellows, with whom he has studied the nuances of road courses. Even though he finished fourth at Road America and sixth last week at Watkins Glen on road courses, Elliott hasnt been pleased with his efforts. But he is hoping that hes getting the hang of the quick braking, rapid acceleration and sharp turns that are required on such a layout. "Im just putting all that stuff together and making sure I do a good job," he said. "Ill get all the practice that is offered. Ill try to learn and hopefully itll be good enough." Elliott, at the wheel of owner Dale Earnhardt Jr.s Chevrolet, was ninth after Fridays practice runs but is looking for improvement. Brendan Gaughan, fifth in practice, won at scenic Road America and has his own theory on what it takes to win on a road course. "If you dont get in rhythm out there, you can really screw yourself up," he said, calling Mid-Ohio an "extremely technical road course." Alex Tagliani, who was second at Road America, had the seventh-best practice time. "Its a track that changes quite a bit from practice to qualifying," he said about Mid-Ohio. "The level of grip is going to go high. And the speed is going to increase tremendously." ' ' '
